Coming to us from Boulder, CO, as a 3.0L V8 530iT with an auto trans and mild suspension mods, this was a commission build for a customer that wanted more power and a 6spd manual. We built a custom 4.4L V8 using the M62 bottom end with 4.0L M60 heads, complete double row timing gear, and intake manifold. After adding an E39 M5 6spd, clutch, and flywheel, plus a nice set of 18" M Parallels, custom exhaust, and a 3.64 Limited Slip Differential, this is a well-balanced car that is fantastic to drive.
