E91 AWD N55 Turbo 6spd

The Ultimate daily driver, especially for those of us at high altitude in the mountains or those who just love a mountain of torque. BMW chose not to make the E91 wagon available to the U.S Market with a turbocharged engine. Not a problem anymore though, Bimrtechnik is here to happily fill the void. This is a car that makes too much sense to not exist, an it’s one we've been very excited to make available.

For this build we started with a beautifully pristine, low mileage 2008 sport package and cold weather package equipped, black over black, E91 328XiT. We removed the complete engine, transmission, all body and drivetrain wiring harnesses, control units, auto trans related components, hood, headlights, taillights, wheels and tires, braking system, engine cooling system, and complete fuel system. We then replaced all removed components with those from a last-year-of-production, 2011 AWD 335Xi with sport package, cold weather package, premium package, and 6 speed manual transmission. We decided on the latest production, E90 335Xi in order to incorporate the more reliable and efficient N55 engine. This vehicle also has power adjustable heated sport seats, Comfort Access system, Xenon headlights, premium audio, Panoramic sunroof, and much more. We purposely chose a donor vehicle that did not include navigation and I-Drive. Every significant vehicle system and component was from the donor vehicle (which only had 70k miles on its's odometer), right down to nearly every inch of wiring (excluding only the roof wiring harness due to differences in the rear hatch wiring and panoramic sunroof drives) including the instrument cluster which shows the donor car's mileage. This level of conversion is necessary in order to create perfect integration and allow seamless functionality of all vehicle systems and features as if the car was built this way at the factory.

Update: Our Ultimate daily 335XiT was secured for purchase via deposit by an interested customer ahead of it’s completion date. Per his request we installed 19” O.Z. Rally wheels, complete Corsa performance exhaust with diamond black tips, a large stepped intercooler, Dinan stage 2 engine management software, F30 3 series Msport front brakes, and to finish off his rally inspired build we built a light bar and mounted four 7” Hella Black Magic rally lights. It was completed and shipped off to it’s new home on the East coast. Our customer reported that the car arrived in one piece, and that he has been extremely pleased with the vehicle.

We are removed the complete engine, transmission, all drivetrain wiring harnesses, control units, auto trans related components, wheels and tires, braking system, engine cooling system, and complete fuel system. We then replaced all of these components with those from a last-year-of-production, 2011 AWD 335Xi with a 6 speed manual transmission. We went with the late production, last year E90 335Xi in order to incorporate the more reliable and efficient N55 engine. This vehicle also has leather manually adjustable heated sport seats, Xenon headlights, premium audio, Panoramic sunroof, and much more. Every vehicle system is altered and many significant components are from the donor vehicle (which only has 70k miles on its's odometer), including a large portion of the vehicle’s wiring. This depth of conversion is necessary in order to create perfect integration and allow seamless functionality of all vehicle systems and features as if the car was built this way at the factory.

At our customer’s request we also added a complete stainless steel Corsa exhaust system, Hella Black Magic rally/driving lights, 19” OZ wheels, BMW F30 M-Sport front brake system, a massive Wagner stepped intercooler, and Dinan Stage 2 engine management software.
